What To Expect

Located in the beautiful foothills of the Rockies, our week-end program takes place in Boulder, Longmont and Ft. Collins.

Culinary Workshop

After an optional Friday evening meet-and-greet, Saturday morning kicks off with a hands-on culinary workshop held in Donna’s kitchen in a charming 1910 Victorian home located in Old Town Longmont. You won’t be sitting on the sidelines but rolling up your sleeves to work with hemp-extract (CBD) products in a variety of recipes. These cannabinoid and terpene rich foods will be easy to replicate at home in your own kitchen or to teach your clients. Light breakfast and lunch provided.

Hemp Farm Tour

Mid-day Saturday we head north (1 hour drive) to Ft. Collins to tour an organic greenhouse hemp farm. The term seed-to-sale will take on new meaning as you get the deep dive, from an expert cannabis farmer, on plant genetics, cultivation practices and an understanding of extraction processes being used in today’s CBD products. The take-away here is knowing how to determine the efficacy of hemp-derived products, what to buy, how to dose and getting a step ahead on cannabinoid medicine that goes way beyond just CBD.

Late afternoon/evening is on your own to explore and enjoy all that the Front Range offers. And don’t worry, we’ll give you the inside scoop on our favorite restaurants and where to have a fun Saturday evening.

CBD Apothecary Class

Sunday morning has us at a well-stocked herbal apothecary for a hands-on lotion and potion making class with an expert herbalist. Essential oils, CBD tinctures and other natural ingredients are at your fingertips while creating your own personalized topicals to take home. Friends, family and clients will be oh-so-impressed with your hand-crafted products. Lunch is on your own with your new-found colleagues.

Dispensary Deep Dive

By mid-day Sunday, we’ll head over to one of Boulder’s finest dispensaries featuring organic cannabis and an extremely knowledgeable staff. Our education tour here will answer all the questions you’ve had about edibles, vaporizing, concentrates and different strains, providing a roadmap for how to evaluate products for different medical needs. The retreat concludes after this event so make your travel plans accordingly, anytime after 4pm.
